Daniel Jackson, LMT, BCTMB
I graduated massage school in 2002 and have spent every year since with my hands on clients, working trigger points and deep fascia, and developing my own approach to reflexology, which I call structural reflexology.
Teaching is the next step in that same work. My courses are live and hands-on, built around a structural way of seeing the body: find the points where it transfers force, and work the tissue on both sides of them.
I’m a Licensed Massage Therapist in Georgia and Board Certified in Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork through the NCBTMB.

How I teach
When I’m teaching on my own, I keep classes to 20 people or fewer so everyone gets real time with me. The lecture is interactive. During live demonstrations I talk through what I’m thinking and what I’m doing, so you see the reasoning behind the technique, not just the technique.
Then it’s your turn on the table. My corrections are guidance more than critique: usually a small change to your angle, pressure, or posture that creates a deeper feel of effect, for you as the practitioner and for the person you’re working on.
Where this comes from
I’ve led colleagues in training as a lead therapist and helped individual therapists develop their technique and body mechanics. The KeyBones pilot is my first time teaching in this format, and I’m shaping it with the therapists who join me.
My view of the body was shaped by studying with Bob Cooley, by learning movement forms and the connection between mind, body, and breath, and by working through my own physical challenges. Those experiences boiled things down to a simple starting point. That doesn’t make the work simple, but it gives you a clear place to begin: start with an idea, and go with the feeling.
What I ask of you
Come open to growing and learning. I am too. I learn by teaching, not only how to teach better but how to understand the body and bodywork more deeply. Walk in with what you know, and walk out with a little more than you came with.
